The Mad People Riddim is the first Power Soca release from Saint Lucian based record label Stratosphere Muzic. Produced by award winning songwriter and producer Courtney “Curty” Louis and Yannick “Fresh Prince” Plante it features Stratosphere Muzic artistes Ricky T with Rahhh, Mongstar on Mad People Alone and Nicole David’s In Di Middle Of Di Road. Former Power Soca Monarch Superman HD is also included on Boot The F*&king Wall (Get On). The songs were written by various writers including Saveion Georges,Kwency Griffith, Marley James, Ricky Joseph as well as Louis who mixed and mastered all the music inside his Dutch Productions studio located in Bois D’Orange, Gros-Islet.

The lone female to ever win the Road March Title in Saint Lucia, Nicki is the only soca queen who can rule with such precise and devastating force, instructing her females to “spread your legs and bend over/Tell a man to come over.” Who in turn will tell the man to “ride up on me bumper/mash up me spine and make me bawl out murder.”

Mad People Alone – Mongstar

“This is a mad man city/this is a mad man town/tell them we ready when dem ready/this is a mad showdown.” Stratosphere Muzic artiste Mongstar is ready for soca war. And he is calling out his crew on Mad People Alone featured on the Dutch Productions/Stratosphere Muzic Mad People Riddim. Written by award winning songwriter and producer Courtney Louis and Marley James, Mad People Alone is mixed and mastered by Louis who produced it alongside Yannick Plante.

Self-described as a soca psychopath, Mongstar is a soca artiste who is ready to command. Leading the charge from the stage to the streets, he warns “we sick, we sick, we sick, psychotic, yes we insane.” He also makes it clear nothing will keep him from wreaking soca havoc.

The Mad People Riddim is the first Power Soca release from the Saint Lucian Based Stratosphere Muzic label and it is pumped with enough adrenaline, bravado and swag that a straight jacket will be needed just to contain what is being unleashed. Mad People Alone just the way Carnival and this music makes us – so heed the call and take to the streets.
