WAR - SUPERMAN HD
The music for “War” by Superman HD was produced by Courtney “Curty” Louis of Dutch Productions/Stratosphere Muzic and Thygeson “Penn” Joseph of Studio 758, a first time collaboration between the two. The song is written by Courtney Louis, Kwency Griffith and Hollice Mapp; the same team who brought you “Defense” (2010), “More Mash Up” (2011) and “Born to Mash Up” which in 2012 secured Superman HD his first Power Soca Monarch title. Stirring bacchanalists into a frenzy is an art Superman HD has perfected over time. Now with a battle cry and a call to his trained soldiers, he is ready to wage “War,” calling out “All bacchanal soldiers follow me/We eh backing down for nobody/Put your rags and towels in the air/We taking them head on/We have no fear.” Superman HD is the General who leads this army, reminding them “we earn our stripes” and “We not running, we not running, we not running away from the war.” Like a true war General he also presents a battle cry and instructions “Now jump/scatter scatter/now bounce/scatter, scatter/now run/scatter, scatter/attack!” They say the Carnival is dead. They say it have no vibe. In that case “War” is just what the soca freaks and bacchanalists ordered – combining the artistic mastery of producers Curty and Penn with the talent of Superman HD and Mr Killa. If the mission is Save Saint Lucia Carnival, we all in and ready for the “War”.
